Score three or score none at all was the order of the day at the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) Technical Centre in the ABFA Premier League on Saturday.

There were three-nil wins for Garden Stars and All Saints United, while Sap and Swetes played to a three-all draw.

The first match saw neighbours All Saints United thrash John Hughes 3-0 as Nazir McBurnette, Malcolm Stewart and Junior Lee scored a goal each.

But the most thrilling match of the day was between Swetes FC and SAP, even though it ended in a three-all draw.

Tnoy Andrew scored first for Swetes in the seventh minute, before Shackwon Simon added another six minutes later as Swetes controlled the game two nil.

However, the old grandmaster Peter Byers showed that he belongs with the younger ones as he pulled back a goal in the 23rd for the team from round south.

Then, six minutes later Tehjano Jarvis scored to put the scoreline at two-all to end the first half.

With no goals scored for the first 35 minutes of the second half, the in-form Shalon Knight’s shot in the 81st minute somewhat seemed to be the winner, to the delight of the Swetes fans as the time winded down.

Nevertheless, number 14 Tyrique Tonge scored in the seventh minute of extra time to draw the game level, three-all, to end an intriguing match.

The final match of the evening showcased another winless performance by former Champions Empire FC who were beaten three-nil by Garden Stars FC.

Tarek Charles scored a brace in the 24th and 89th minutes, while teammate Karique Knight scored in the 68th.
