Empire FC racked up a big win over the weekend in their Antigua Premier League (APL) encounter.

The west-side team trounced Liberta Backhawks SC 7-2 in the lone APL match on Friday at the ABFA Technical facility.

Jevaughn Jarvis recorded a brace for the victors scoring in the 15th and 32nd minutes of play.

Shemar Scott was a goal shy of a hat-trick also, as he found the back of the net in minutes 33

and 50.

Goals also came from Manuel Emilo Arias (20th), Ellsworth Mack (49th) and Keimoy Elvin (72nd).

Yaisniel Napoles Espinosa and Jonte Chapman were the goal-scorers for Blackhawks.

Meanwhile, in the lone Second Division match played that day, Attacking Saints thrashed Belmont FC, 4-0.

Joshua Samuel recorded a hat-trick scoring in the 4th, 16th and 49th minutes.

His teammate, Kerron McKenzie rounded off the scoring with a goal in the 70th minute of play.

The other game between Freemans Village FC and Golden Grove FC did not play as Golden Grove was a no-show.
