Wadadli Elite were the biggest winners in the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) competition on Tuesday night, inflicting a 95-52 beating on Young Rivals, claiming a 43-point triumph.
Najae George was most impressive for the victors, sinking 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. There was assistance from Harry Rashaun and Marki Carbon who both picked up 15 points. They also grabbed 11 and 13 rebounds, respectively.
In a losing effort, Jefrey George led with 14 points and five rebounds, while Raheem Lewis added 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Still in Division Three, Pointville Ballers enjoyed a 20-point victory over Young Warriors. Connell Nedd led the victors’ charge with 19 points and five rebounds, but had help from Trey Beazer who picked up 15 points and six rebounds. Kyle Alexander and Kaylon Thomas both had 10 points with Thomas completing a double-double with 23 rebounds. Jared James was best on show for Warriors with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
In the other Division Three contest on Tuesday, F&G Ovals Ojays enjoyed an 11-point victory over Police Vertex. Reginald Barnes and Daniel Perez both had 17 points as they led Ojays to the 65-54 triumph. Perez also had 11 rebounds while Barnes picked up eight.
For Vertex, Gavin Walker led with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Jair Benta sank 14 points and a massive 25 rebounds.
Meanwhile, in the lone Division Two game contested Tuesday, Ottos Coolers edged Max Gunners by a 62-58 margin.
Lincoln Weekes top-scored for Coolers with 21 points and seven rebounds. In a losing effort, Olivee Morris had a game-high of 22 points and five rebounds, while there was a contribution of 15 points and seven rebounds from Keaddy Martin.
