The Jennings Ebenezer Community League lit up once again with 11 goals scored on Thursday evening.

In two exciting encounters, Caribbean Ballers took on Lion Hill to execute a three one triumph. Jamla Joseph brought up the first in the 27th minute, while Nickerson Lindsey and Raheem Williams scored in the 43rd and 50th minutes. An unfortunate own goal was netted by Sydney Samuel in the 55th minute.

In the second encounter, Jennings 2 went under to Alley Boys by a scoreline of five to two, thanks to the league’s top scorer Jean-Pierre Samuel recording a hat trick. He was well supported by Kevin Samuel and Jaheali Joseph who both registered goals of their own. There were two consolation goals scored by the veteran Peter Byers and Michele Cuhzac.

In the Parham Super League, most teams have already played three rounds of matches in Group A and B. 2023-24 Premier League Champions All Saints United sit at the top of Group B with nine points with John Hughes in second on six points.

In Group A, Garden Stars lead the standings with seven points and a goal difference of five goals while Pigotts Sports Club is in second on seven points but a goal difference of two goals.
