Saturday evening’s ABAVA Business League volleyball action at the YMCA Sports Complex produced three competitive matches with ECAB, Icons, and UWI taking wins on the night.
In a thrilling three-set encounter, ECAB secured a 2-1 victory over Media. After taking the first set with a score of 25-18, ECAB faced strong resistance in the second set, with Media fighting back to win 29-27.
The deciding set saw ECAB regain control, claiming it 19-17 for the match victory. The contest lasted one hour and 43 minutes.
Icons demonstrated were able to defeat ABIIT in a straight-sets victory, though the final set was much tighter than they would have hoped.
They took the first set 25-15 and followed up with a 26-24 win in the second set.
The final match of the night saw UWI also beating Flyers in straight sets, winning 25-18 and 25-22.
