Action continued in the Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) Business League competition on Tuesday with victory for Eastern Caribbean Amalgamated Bank (ECAB) over the Antigua & Barbuda International Institute of Technology (ABIIT).
Playing at the volleyball association’s indoor facility at the YMCA Sports Complex, it was clear from the onset that both teams were determined to secure a victory. ECAB however proved to be the stronger of the two.
In the first set, ECAB displayed impressive teamwork and resilience, edging out ABIIT in a closely contested battle. The set was marked by intense rallies and strategic plays, with ECAB ultimately winning 25-22.
The second set saw ECAB build on their momentum, quickly establishing a lead and maintaining control throughout the set, finishing strong to win by a 25-16 margin, securing a 2-0 sets win over ABIIT.
