Drug bust accused due in court today

Calvin Donaldson, one of two men arrested earlier this week in connection with a drug bust at the V.C. Bird International Airport,  has been charged and is expected in court this morning.
The police said they charged the 40-year-old Jennings man with possession of four pounds of cannabis, being concerned in the
supply of cannabis and importation of cannabis. The other man who had been detained has since been released.
The two were taken into custody on Monday, after police K-9 dogs detected the cannabis hidden inside some boxes with baby wipes and adult pampers. At the time, the items were in the Amerijet Airlines’ storage room at the Customs Cargo. 
Donaldson was taken to the All Saints Magistrates Court, before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel yesterday but is to return today with an attorney.
