Double victory for All Saints 2 in Schools Volleyball showdown

All Saints Secondary school 2 (ASSS 2) picked up double victories on Monday afternoon in the Inter-School Volleyball League.
ASSS 2 recorded their first win of the day versus Antigua Girls High 3 (AGHS 3), edging them out, 2-1 at the YMCA Indoor Volleyball facility.
The highly contested match saw the “country school team” draw first blood (25-22) but faltered in the second, opening the door for the ladies in blue (20-25).
As the third and final set got underway, AGHS 3 seemed to have the match in the bag leading by some four points but ASSS 2 would not be outdone rallying to upset AGHS 2 (15-13).
The frustration continued for Antigua Girls
High, as ASSS 2 claimed their second victory defeating AGHS 2, 2-1 (25-15, 22-25,15-8) and Clare Hall Secondary (CHSS) thrashed AGHS 3, 2-1 (25-16, 15-25, 15-10).
The CHSS males team could not follow in the footsteps of the female team as they fell in straight sets, 23-25, 19-25 to Antigua Grammar School 2.
In other games that day, Antigua State College (ASC) trumped All Saints Secondary 1, 2-1 (25-22, 20-25, 15-13) while Ottos Comprehensive (OCS) defeated ASC in straight sets, 25-23, 25-22.
Princess Margaret (PMS) forfeited to AGHS 2.
On Friday, Clare Hall Secondary upset Princess Margaret, 2-1 (25-15, 23-25, 15-11), State College trumped Christian Faith Academy (CFA) in straight sets, 25-15, 25-20 and All Saints Secondary 1 defeated Ottos Comprehensive, 2-1 (25-15, 23-25, 15-10).
