Kimel Richards is the second candidate that the recently formed Democratic National Alliance has introduced to the public.
The political party made the revelation Monday night, identifying him as a young entrepreneur who has wide ranging experience in safety, security and transportation.
Richards hails from the Grays Green and Point/Villa communities.
He plans to contest the St. John’s City West seat currently held by MP Gaston Browne who is also the country’s prime minister.
Richards was raised in the Catholic faith and was the first president of the youth arm of the St Vincent de Paul charity.
Last week, the DNA introduced its first candidate, Gameal Joyce who plans to contest the St Paul seat. He has experience in banking and financing.
