The best things may come in threes, but what about the most despicable? In the latest trailer from Minion-factory Illumination Entertainment for the third entry in the Despicable Me franchise, we see the now-retired archvillain Gru meet a long-lost relative — a twin brother named Dru — which means even more fun for Steve Carell, who voices both of them.
In the first trailer, we met the ridiculous Balthazar Bratt (voiced by Trey Parker), a new baddie with a fashion sense and haircut to match. Here, much more of the plot is revealed, and it involves Gru’s particular home and family life, as he finds himself and his old dastardly ways when he crosses paths with his newfound sibling.
And oh right, there are Minions galore. Watch the new trailer above.
Despicable Me 3 will be in theaters on June 30th
