President’s Cup Male Champions, Enforcers were eliminated from this year’s competition on Tuesday night at the YMCA Volleyball Indoor facility.

Enforcers were edged out by Pytonz 3-2 in the best of five sets in the feature encounter.

After being 1-0 down with Pytonz taking the first set 28-26, the champions quite seemingly were on their way to advancing to the finals of the competition for the second consecutive year winning the second and third sets 22-25,15-25 but a number of turnovers and mental lapses would cost them the match.

Pytonz, facing elimination, rallied to push to the final fifth set, winning the fourth 25-22. The venom continued to spread over Enforcers as in the final set they were edged out 15-13.

With this win, Pytonz will face off versus powerhouse team, Stoneville who advanced a day earlier after defeating High Flyers 3-2 in sets, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20, 26-18, 15-13 while in the female category defending champions, Paragons and F and G Trading Jets will square off.
