There were wins for Defante Stingers and Black Lightning in the B Division of the Antigua and Barbuda Netball Association (ABNA) Competition played at the YMCA Sports Complex on Sunday.
Contesting the feature contest of the double-header, Defante Stingers were 17-6 winners over Pacesetters Under16 (1). Deniah Henry led the scoring for Stingers with 15 of her 19 attempts while Shakoya Prince picked up two of her four attempts.
In the opening contest, Black Lightning edged Pacesetters Under-16 (2) by an 8-5 in a low-scoring affair. Azaliya Simon led the charge for Black Lightning with five of 10 attempts. Leannie Darroux (2/5) and Keandra Merrick (1/3), also contributed to the victory.
For Pacesetters, Reneka Anthony was the top shooter with three of five attempts while Mackayla Scott sank two of six.
