After a two-game losing streak, Dadli Designs found their winnings ways to edge out Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority (ABAA) United, 60-58 in the feature match on Sunday night at the JSC Sports Complex.
The Cool and Smooth Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) Business league encounter saw Felix Hamilton lead the victors with 19 points.
He was assisted by youngsters, Jamar Bird and Reginald “Reggie” Barnes who netted 18 and 14 points respectively.
Airport’s Evance Jones had 13 points while teammates, Joel Christian and Tevin Bowers sank 12 and 10 points in a losing effort.
Flow after winning their first match this season, found themselves outside of the winner’s circle once again, this time falling to Sandals, 67-45.
Despite a valiant effort by Shamari Bascus who scored 15 points, Flow could not make it two wins in a row as highflyer, Keroi “Dragon” Lee and speedster, Devorn Benjamin led the powerhouse, Sandals team with 19 points each while their teammate, Adissa “Rass-I” Harris contributed with 13 points.
In the other matches played that night: APUA Water defeated Mill Reef, 64-48 while Rackaman Cleaners went under to Dixie, 69-59.
Dynamic duo of Iornie Joseph and Michael Jeffers led the watermen with 17 and 15 points while Nigel Fergus sank 15 for Mill Reef.
Dixie’s George Francis had a game high 23 points while Chell Goodman netted 14 points for Cleaners.
Games for today have been postponed to accommodate the ABBA Awards and Prize Giving ceremony scheduled for the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket grounds starting at 7 p.m.
