The Antigua and Barbuda Cricket Association (ABCA) has announced the resumption of competitive cricket since the pandemic with the ABCA VAX 8-a–side competition.

The new tournament is slated for December 18 and 19 and will be played among 12 teams. These matches will be played at the Pigotts playing field starting at 9am on both days.

In keeping with health and government protocols, all persons participating in the tournament must be fully vaccinated and must present proof of vaccination at the point of registration. Teams are to be registered by December 3.

To assist in the vaccination drive, the ABCA has invited the Ministry of Health to set up a vaccination station on both days of the tournament and invite all sports persons to come and be vaccinated at the tournament.
