Ottos Coolers are now one win away from advancing to the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) Division Two playoff finals.
The former champions rallied on Saturday night to come from 18 points down to take game one of the best of three semi-finals match-up at Ovals, winning, 85-80 over Fearless Crew 1.
It was a dismal third quarter for Coolers as they were outscored 20-13 giving Fearless Crew 1 a 66-51 lead going into the last quarter.
But Coolers seemed to pull it together when it mattered most, coming from 15 points down to edge their opponents, stunning the Fearless Crew fans and leaving their own in a frenzy.
Lincoln Weekes led all scorers with 26 points while his teammate, Javon Simon had 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to secure the win.
Michael Barton contributed with 15 points, 17 rebounds and nine steals.
Ismael Palemo was also in double figures for the victors with 13 points, while for Fearless, Adissa Harris had 24 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and five steals.
Ralph Spooner had 18 points and Ricky Willock 15 in a losing effort.
Game two of the series is scheduled to take place tonight at 6:45pm at Ovals.
