Construction Solutions and Buck and Sons Landscaping Services were the dominant forces in Sunday’s action-packed quadruple-header of the Cool and Smooth MPL Sherma Jackson Joma Business League, with each team securing two impressive victories.

Construction Solutions opened the day with an outstanding nine-wicket victory over Grill Box AGSPT in a rain-affected match reduced to six overs. Melvin Charles set the tone with an exceptional bowling spell of two for nine runs, restricting Grill Box to a modest 30 for five. In response, Clarence Francis‘ unbeaten 14 guided Construction to a comfortable victory at 31 for one in just 3.4 overs.

The success story continued for Construction in their second fixture, where they registered a spectacular 100-run victory over Pel Mix Stars. The batting duo of Francis (59) and Charles (50) put on a masterclass, propelling their team to an imposing 137 for two in their allotted 10 overs. Pel Mix Stars never got going in their chase, managing only 37 for four, with Jevaughn James two for five and Kerique Mentore two for 10 wreaking havoc with the ball.

Buck and Sons Landscaping Services matched Construction’s perfect record with two clinical performances. In their first encounter, they overcame ABDF by 17 runs in a closely fought contest. Kenrick Scott’s aggressive 37, supported by Denley Thomas’ 25 and Kimani George’s quick 17, helped Buck and Sons post 99 for seven. ABDF’s chase, anchored by Tron Payne’s 37, fell short at 82 for seven, with George and Kimberly Anthony claiming two wickets each.

The landscaping outfit completed their successful day by chasing down TIG Welding 92 for nine with eight wickets to spare. George continued his outstanding form with three for 14, while Elroy Francis Jr contributed with both bat and ball, taking two for 27 before crafting an impressive 46 in the successful chase.
