Combine cemented their spot in the Senior Girls finals of the Cool and Smooth Interschool Basketball League.

They edged out Princess Margaret School (PMS) by 15-14 as the girls matched up at the YMCA Sports Complex late last week.

Jenah Andrew led the way for the victors scoring six points.

Combine will now face All Saints Secondary School in the finals on April 9 at the ‘Night of Champions’ event where all six finals in the respective divisions will be played.

PMS did have something to celebrate that day as their Junior Boys team trounced St Anthony’s Secondary School (SASS), 59-23.

Craig Massiah had a game high 31 points with assistance from Malinga Bruney who made eight. 

SASS’s Cahorn Jeffers netted six points in a losing effort.

Meanwhile in the Senior Boys category, Total Imports Clare Hall Secondary School (CHSS) edged out Antigua Grammar School (AGS), 38-32.

Aiden Christian led all scorers with 13 points. He was assisted by Azandy Thomas who made 10 and Orion Seraphine who scored eight.

Raheem Sawyer and Naeem Joseph had nine and eight points respectively for AGS.
