The Wessexes completed their Antigua itinerary with a visit to the historic Clarence House in English Harbour.

They not only took a tour of the building – said to be a fine example of 19th century living in the twin island nation – but also got a taste of some of the country’s finest cultural elements such as stilt walkers and a John Bull.

Prince Edward even joined in with the iron band.

The couple also viewed some cultural outfits, a locally made gin, crafts made from tamarind seeds, and local sweet treats.

Their tour culminated with the lowering of the Antiguan and Barbudan flag.
