Sibley Charles, the lone Antiguan representative at the Masters COTECC U14 Cup in Guatemala, recorded a win in the Girls Doubles category.
Charles, partnering with Mexican Mariana Reding, beat Natalia Castaneda (Mexico) and Mariela Fortuny (Guatemala) in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 on Sunday.
But she suffered a different fate in the singles division.
Charles went under to Guatemalan Deborah Dominguez 1-6, 2-6 in Group 1.
The young talent was selected to compete at this prestigious event by COTECC after her latest ranking where she is now placed in the top eight on the COTECC table.
