A 58-year-old man charged with killing mother-of-three Althea Henry is expected to appear before court today.

Linsome Boyd, of Cashew Hill, was yesterday charged with the murder of the 50-year-old Passport Division worker and the attempted murder of her son, Tajma Francis, 21.

Henry’s body was discovered at her Cashew Hill home on the afternoon of June 20 with what appeared to be multiple wounds.

Francis was rushed to hospital with injuries to his upper body and left eye allegedly received during an altercation with the accused.

He is reported to be in a stable condition, a police statement said.
