The 2019 edition of the Cool and Smooth Business Basketball League will shoot off this weekend.
With a start time of 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the JSC Sports Complex, 20 teams will be on display as they launch their quest for the title this season.
Anjo Wholesale, Sandals, Pointe FM, APUA Water, APUA Head Office, Digicel, FLOW, Eye Mobile, A-Mobile, Burton’s Laundry Cleaners, Dixie, Mill Reef, Blue Waters, Fitzroy Rewinding, Kennedy’s, Board of Education, (newbies) Area 51, and Galley Bay, will try to dethrone defending champions, Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board.
Games will be played Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at both the YMCA and JSC Sports complexes for free; while on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, games will only be played at JSC with a $5 admission fee.
Two games are scheduled to shoot off on Sunday following a brief opening ceremony.
As is the custom on opening night, teams will not know in advance who they will be playing against.
