The LL Supply Ltd Island Boys Sports Club (IBSC) 20-over Tape Ball Classic 2024 saw thrilling matches on Sunday, September 15, 2024, with games played at Powells and Potters grounds.

At Powells, Brysons Shipping & Insurance Bullets dominated PEL Desi Boys with a 120-run victory. Bullets posted 187 for eight, featuring Shaquan Reifer’s unbeaten 56 and Kimani George’s 39.

Desi Boys were bowled out for 67, with Andra Samuel snagging five for 25 and Vaughn Charles chipping in with three for six leading the Bullets’ bowling attack.

In the second match at Powells, PMS defeated Pete’s Landscaping 300 by 77 runs. PMS scored 174 all out, led by Ashfield Weatherhead’s 47 and Micheal Harilall’s 44.

Pete’s Landscaping 300 only managed 97 in response, with Harilall capturing three for 11 and Terrence Thompson three for 24 with the ball for PMS.

At Potters, Pelican Safari/The Nest Beach Bar & Restaurant VIP crushed Mix Up Stars by seven wickets. Mix Up Stars were bowled out for 56, with Man of the Match Conroy Semple grabbing four for 14, and Ronald Stewart chipping in with three for four, excelling for VIP.

In reply, VIP chased down the target in just 4.2 overs, with Demetri Lucas scoring an unbeaten 34.

The final match at Potters saw GP Eagles triumph over Buckleys 3J’s by 89 runs. Eagles amassed a total of 205 for eight which was highlighted by Rolston “Tris” Phillip Jnr’s 60, and contributions from Kerrique Mentore 35 and Kerry Mentore 26.

Buckleys 3J’s could only muster 116 in response, despite Steve Martin’s unbeaten 53.

John Lewis four for 16 was named Player of the Match with support from Kief Baltimore, two for 14.
