The Antigua and Barbuda Softball Cricket Association’s Men’s 30 Overs title was won by Brysons Insurance & Shipping Bullets on Sunday after a clinical performance over Dredgers.
Dredgers won the toss and elected to bat and found it difficult to score against the opposition, posting 85 all out.
Deran Benta was the chief antagonist, shooting out four of their batters for just 14 runs while Essan Warner had 3 for 15 and Shequan Reifer 2 for 15.
Brent Bloodman was the only batter to provide some sort of resistance with a quickfire 22.
In reply, Bullets smashed the target with 20 overs to spare reaching 89 for two as Warner made 32 with four sixes, Benta unbeaten on 26 also with four sixes, and Wilston Charles 22. This the second title of the season that Bullets have won and they will now get ready to play the ABSCA T20 Competition which will bowl off shortly.
