Legendary calypsonian Tyrone ‘Eddie Mello’ Thomas has died. Reports are that he was found unconscious at his office earlier today.
There were unsuccessful attempts to resuscitate him at the scene.
Observer media is told he was rushed to hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
Thomas is a two-time crowned calypso monarch of Antigua and Barbuda.
