Two Jennings men were rushed to hospital yesterday afternoon after one of them allegedly went on a rampage, attacking others in the village upon getting some bad news about his relationship.
His first victim was said to be a man who refused to give him a ride. He allegedly jumped into the man’s car and punched and kicked him for several minutes before villagers went to the man’s rescue.
His second victim was reportedly his girlfriend’s brother, said to be among those who stopped him from attacking the man in the car.
The aggressor and his brother-in-law were the ones taken to hospital nursing several cuts and bruises from which they were bleeding.
Villagers expressed anger yesterday over the long time of 20 to 30 minutes it took for the ambulance and police to respond.
