Braves win again, Full Throttle blow past Outlaws

Braves continued their winning ways in Division One of the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) competition over the weekend, beating Rockersville by five points (70-65) when they met in the feature game of a double-header at the JSC basketball complex on Saturday night.

Braves were led by Felix Hamilton who had an outstanding night, sinking 30 points and grabbing six rebounds. In a losing effort, Nigel Joseph hit 24 points and four rebounds. He had help from Kevin Joseph who hit 14 points and 10 rebounds.

In Saturday’s opening contest, Ottos Full Throttle made light work of Outlaws by a 65-53 margin. Lincoln Weeks was on fire for Full Throttle, dropping 22 points while receiving welcomed assistance from Kwame Payne who had 13 points and 12 rebounds.

On the losing end, Kareem Blair led the scoring for Outlaws with 13 points and nine rebounds while Ishaan Peets picked up 12 points and also had nine rebounds.
