Black Panthers keep on winning

Black Panthers pushed their undefeated record to 2-0 on Saturday in the ongoing Cyclones Summer Basketball League being played in Liberta.

Panthers, competing in the Under-16 age category, edged out Young Warriors 18-17 with Zorah Richards leading the charge with 10 points and four rebounds.

Young Warriors’ Sebrina Bailey had eight points in a losing effort.

Young Warriors now move to an 0-2 record.

Meanwhile, in the lone Under-13 encounter, Golden Eagles defeated Lady Titans 10-6.

Keturah Christmas had eight points for the victors to record their first win of the season.

Games will continue on Saturday 22nd June as Golden Eagles will face off versus Young Ballers at 4 pm while, at 4:30 pm, Dream Team will play Lady Titans.

Mean Machine will also be in action that day versus Young Warriors in the lone Under-16 match.
