Black Lightning remain undefeated

Black Lightning continue to have a dominant run in the ongoing Cyclones Summer Basketball League as they pushed their undefeated record to 4-0 on Saturday in Liberta.

Playing in the Under-13 category, the victors defeated Golden Eagles 12-2 with Kenisha James leading the charge, netting all 12 points.

Dream Team, however, continue to struggle in the same age-category as they are yet to win a match this time, moving to 0-3.

They were edged out by another winless team, Young Ballers, by 6-4 score-line.

Young Ballers after this win now hold a 1-3 record.

 Meanwhile, in the final encounter of the day, Ball Hawks defeated Lady Titans 21-16.

Despite a 16-point effort by Shakora Prince, Lady Titans could not secure what would have been their third win of the season. Instead they now move to 2-2 record while Ball Hawks are 2-1 with an eight-point performance from Tattiana Lewin.

Games will continue on Saturday July 6th at 4 pm as Ball Hawks will face off versus Young Ballers while, at 4:40 pm, Lady Titans will battle Black Lightning.

Golden Eagles and Dream Team will also face off at 5:20 pm.

 All of these matches are in the Under-13 division.
