In Monday’s ABFA Second Division football action, CPTSA Wings SC secured a comfortable victory while Belmont FC emerged victorious in a closely contested match.
At Golden Grove, CPTSA Wings SC were in excellent form with a convincing 3-0 win over TAMO FC. Joshua Lake broke the deadlock in the 35th minute, giving Wings the lead heading into halftime. The second half saw Wings extend their advantage through Kimani Gyles in the 63rd minute, before Travis Austin sealed the victory with a goal in the 84th minute.
Meanwhile, at PMS, Belmont FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Blackburn Palace FC in an entertaining encounter. Zamaal Greene proved to be the difference-maker for Belmont, opening the scoring in the 11th minute. Blackburn Palace’s Diondre Harrigan levelled the match in the 36th minute, but Greene struck again just before halftime in the 40th minute to secure all three points for Belmont FC.
