Barbuda water, electricity being restored

Water and electricity are expected to be restored to more Barbudan residents in the coming days.
Chairman of the Barbuda Council, Wade Burton, made the disclosure on OBSERVER media yesterday.
According to him, the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) has been “working around the clock … to get as [many] homes connected as they can with water and electricity.”
A recent press release, indicated that APUA had received at least 380 applications from Barbudan residents for restoration of electricity services, with installations completed for, at least half of the residents who had applied.
