Action continued in the Cool & Smooth sponsored Business Basketball League on Tuesday night with wins for Sledge-O-Ballers, Mill Reef and Vendors at the JSC basketball complex.
Playing in the feature game, Vendors rallied to a close 57-54 overtime victory against Health First Pharmacy Fearless Crew. Azandi Thomas led the way for Vendors with 17 points, while Craig Massiah contributed with 16 points. Daysher Samuel sank 14 points for Fearless Crew.
Meanwhile, Mill Reef enjoyed the biggest win of the night with a 17 points triumph over Galley Bay, winning the night’s second contest by a 52-35 margin.
Errol Quallis was on target for Mill Reef with 20 points while Elliot Samuel and Oliver Tonge chipped in with 16 and 10 points each. Tyea Ladoo (13 pts) and Molefi Joseph (9 pts), were the only shooters of note for Galley Bay.
In Tuesday’s night’s opening contest, Sledge-O-Ballers enjoyed a 63-50 win over Sir Lester Bird Medical Center (SLBMC). Sharife Sergeant led the victor’s charge with 18 points while Steadroy Graham contributed with 12 points.
In a losing effort, Jamar Bird sank 16 points while Damian Floyd and Baldwin Anthony Jr both had 10 points.
On Monday night, there were victories for Pointe FM over SLBMC (48-36), Graphic Impact Shooters over Mill Reef (70-37) and Anjo Wholesale over Sandals (59-57).
