Aspiring politician appeals for help for home for the elderly

The United Progressive Party’s Michael Burton is calling on the community to support the Fiennes Institute.

And, he is accusing the government of ignoring the deplorable conditions at the home.

This week, Burton visited the institution and shared photos on social media of some of the problems being faced there.

OBSERVER media spoke to him this morning and he is still calling for health minister Molwyn Joseph to ensure that the home is re-stocked and repaired.

The UPP hopeful has also called on MP for the area, Steadroy “Cutie” Benjamin to push the issue upward on the government’s agenda.
