The Antigua State College (ASC) got off to a winning start in the Cool and Smooth-sponsored Patrick C Whyte Cup Male Under-20 Schools Football Competition on Wednesday, beating Jennings Secondary School (JSS) 4-0 when they met at the Keithley Sheppard Recreational Park (KSRP).
There were four different scorers in the contest with Railique Browne (25th), Jordan Francis (35th), Micah George (49th) and Orian Isaac (70th) all hitting the back of the net.
The other contest scheduled for Wednesday between St Anthony’s Secondary School (SASS) and the Ottos Comprehensive School (OCS) at Radio Range, was postponed.
On Friday, defending champions Princess Margaret School (PMS) will open their campaign against Irene B Williams Secondary (IBWS) at PMS starting at 3:00 pm, while All Saints Secondary School (ASSS) will play the Antigua Grammar School (AGS) in All Saints, also at 3:00 pm.
