An armed robbery took place at Gloria’s Supermarket on Whenner Road on Friday, July 19, at approximately 7:30 pm.
Law enforcement officials are now seeking the public’s assistance in locating the male suspect involved in the incident.
According to police reports, the suspect entered the supermarket and held the cashier at gunpoint before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The entire incident was captured on the store’s security cameras.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the robbery.
Witnesses last saw the suspect escaping on foot towards the Cashew Hill area before boarding a vehicle.
The police have released a description of the suspect, describing him as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, wearing long blue jeans and a multicolored hoodie.
His face was concealed by a black mask at the time of the robbery.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information about suspicious persons or vehicles in the area to come forward.
