After scoring a boundary-laden 143 on Sunday vs Oxton Cricket Club on debut, Antiguan cricketer Demari Benta followed up with a classy 110 not out vs Ruddington CC, smashing 12 fours and six sixes in 67 balls after being dropped without score.

Benta is one of five young cricketers who journeyed to London, England, as part of a cricket exchange between England and Antigua and Barbuda.

The venture, facilitated through the Ministry of Sports and in partnership with the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission to London and Keith Williams of Keyworth Cricket Club, gives the youngsters the opportunity to participate in a 17-week exchange that includes playing with a number of sporting clubs, meeting with other young cricketers and touring London.
