It was a day of celebration for Antiguan Kenroy Christian, as he walked away with top honours in the Men’s Physique tall class category in Aruba.

Christian, on Saturday, was competing at the Giovanni Classic.

He is no stranger to the stage as he is the national defending champion in that category, and the 2019 CAC Men’s Class E winner.

Christian was the lone participant from the Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Federation (ABABWF) to compete at the regional event over the weekend.

Meanwhile, another Antiguan athlete has garnered a commendable performance over the weekend, this time on the track.

Competing in Jamaica at the John Wolmers speedfest at the country’s National Stadium was sprinter Jalen Dyett.

The 2017 and 2018 Carifta Games competitor and 2019 Whitsuntide Games bronze medalist, claimed a second-place finish in his season opener with a time of 21.35 seconds behind of Yohan Blake in the 200m.

This time is a new personal best for Dyett.
