The Antigua and Barbuda Senior Women’s Netball team suffered their first loss on the opening day of the Americas Netball World Cup Qualifiers in Jamaica yesterday.
Playing against Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday morning on court 2, Antigua and Barbuda were outscored in every quarter losing 17-8, 30-11, 46-21 and finally 55-24 .
Earlier on court 1, Barbados trounced the Cayman Islands winning 67-27.
They will hope to bounce back from this loss as they face Grenada at 6:15pm Jamaica time.
A few hours later, Antigua and Barbuda faced the US in an evening cap but the score for that game could not be obtained at the time of this publication.
