The Antigua and Barbuda Senior Women’s Netball team could not continue their winnings ways on Tuesday in the inaugural
Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Eastern Caribbean
Central Bank (ECCB) International Netball series in St. Vincent.
After recording their first win over Dominica at the Arnos Vale Sports
Complex earlier this week, the ladies in red were defeated, 64-28, on Tuesday morning against St. Lucia who recorded their first win of the tournament.
Despite the loss, Rayanna Regis continued to show form, netting 14 of
her 21 attempts while
teammate and veteran player, Amey Lake sank 10 of 16.
Tyea Ladoo also assisted, scoring three of her four attempts.
Antigua and Barbuda would suffer the same fate a few hours later as they went under to the only undefeated team in the competition, host, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
