The Antigua and Barbuda senior netball team finished third in the second edition of the OECS/ECCB International Netball Series.

The team ended their campaign with a 2-2 record, beating hosts Dominica in their opening encounter and long-time rivals St Kitts and Nevis in their final match.

Despite having lost to Barbados as well, Antigua and Barbuda was an invited team in the competition so therefore that loss was not added to the overall standings, leaving Team Wadadli to settle for the bronze medal.

In addition to that specific hardware, goal-shooter Rayana Regis was named the most valuable player (MVP) for the team.

Regis had a commendable performance with the ball having banked 37 of her 50 attempts in their final match-up versus the Sugar City.

In the other matches, she made 24 from 28, 23 from 30 and 46 from 57.

Shonette Azore-Bruce was MVP for Barbados, Makerah George for Dominica, Rochella Challenger for St Kitts and Nevis, and Makeba Alcide for St Lucia.

Dominica won best team on parade, Barbados most disciplined team, best defending team was St Lucia and best shooting team was St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Most goals went to Mary Ann Frederick of St Vincent and the Grenadines, while most accurate shooter was won by Latonia Blackman of Barbados.

St Vincent and the Grenadines also walked away with the best defending player (Joseann Antoine), best centre court player (Shania Pompey) and player of the tournament (Shania Pompey).

St Vincent and the Grenadines were crowned champions while St Lucia finished second.
