Boxers Leon Laudat and Osahar Browne represented the twin island state of Antigua and Barbuda extremely well at the Winfield Braithwaite School Boys Annual Boxing Championships in Guyana, securing four medals from their various categories.

Laudat fought in the finals matches of the youth 63.5kg light welterweight division against Trinidad and Tobago and the 60kg youth lightweight divisions against Guyana, while his teammate Browne fought in the 80kg+ against St Lucia and won Gold.

A total of seven countries participated in the Championships to include Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, Barbados, Grenada, Suriname, St Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago. Hosts Guyana won the tournament with Trinidad and Tobago placing second and St Lucia third.
