Chief Medical Officer, Rhonda Sealy-Thomas, just confirmed that Antigua and Barbuda has recorded its first COVID-19 death.
The victim is said to be a 48 year old male who was admitted to hospital on Saturday showing symptoms of the virus.
The individual died two hours later, according to Thomas.
