St Vincent and the Grenadines were upset by the Spice Girls out of Grenada, losing 34-32 in a nail-biter of a match. In the first quarter, St Vincent and the Grenadines led with a two-point advantage with the score at 9-7. In the second quarter, Grenada made the match just a bit more spicy by levelling the ladies for SVG. The third quarter saw the Grenadians take the lead from SVG with scores at 26-23. In the final quarter, SVG outscored the Grenadians but it was not enough to take the win. Carlene Alexander top-scored for Grenada with 25 points out of 30 attempts while Joseann Antoine had 20 out 28 attempts.

Barbados crushed Montserrat by 95 points, winning 106-11. The first, second and third quarters recorded scores of 25-2, 48-7 and 79-11. In the final quarter, the ladies from the Emerald Isle could not score one point extra against the Barbados side 27 points. Barbados’ Faye Agard 50 and Jada Smith 42 dominated the hapless Montserratian side with Tvara Osbourne top-scoring with eight points for Montserrat.
