Another win for Nevis as Empire, Earthquake and Young Warriors also triumph in Antigua Cup football tournament

Nevis continued their winning ways in the Antigua Cup International Youth Football Tournament on Wednesday, defeating Earthquake 7-0 in the Under-15 division contested at the Buckleys playing field.

Lindel Abraham and Jaheem Hazel both scored twice while there were single conversions from Karese Farrell, Romeo Hanley and Nazai’ah Skeete. The triumph followed Nevis’ 9-1 win over Young Warriors.

Also on Wednesday, Empire defeated Young Warriors 5-1 in the Under-15 division. Ajay Barthley and Omari Barnes both scored twice for Empire with Roshan Samuel scoring the other goal. Naheem Carbon scored the only goal for Young Warriors.

Meanwhile, in the Under-13 division, Earthquake had the better of Young Warriors 4-2. Ayden Clarke, Keniq James, Tishaun Martin and Omari Nacimento all scored once in the victory for Earthquake while Naheem Carbon score both goals for Warriors.

In the other Under-13 clash, Young Warriors edged Nevis one-nil with the long strike of the match coming from Kemari Brodie.
