The body of Hendricks Bruno was retrieved from the waters near Point Wharf early yesterday morning.

The police revealed that the decomposed body was discovered by a fisherman from Liberta at around 3:30 a.m., but it was officers from the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard who lifted the fully clothed corpse from the water.

Bruno’s cause of death is yet to be determined.

This is the second body to be found in Antigua this month.

On July 7th, the body of 17-year-old Deshawn Devonte Joseph of Glanvilles was discovered near Devil’s Bridge by a beach goer.

The investigation into that discovery is still ongoing and is being treated with suspicion of foul play.
