Antiguan Jaquan Browne is hoping to further his footballing career after being invited to try out for the LA Galaxy USL league one team on April 29 and 30.

Tryouts are being held at the Kellog Zahir Soccer Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the US.

Browne, 20, is a Southwestern University of Oklahoma student who also plays his club football for the Minnesota Thunder Academy.

Browne’s family migrated from Antigua to the USA in 2016.

News of his tryout comes just days after two other Antiguan footballers — Calique Simon and Blaivon James, both seventeen years of ag — were announced to be taking part in a three-month training camp in Mexico.

The midfielders will showcase their talent at the Zimapan Mineros FC with the hopes of being scouted/signed.

Simon has then gone on to play most of his competitive football with the Young Lions FC, and James with the Old Road FC.
