Antigua Computer Technology (ACT) and AllMart recently donated $8,080 to the Adele School for Special Children, highlighting the power of community giving and their shared mission to foster inclusion and empowerment.
According to a release, the donation was made possible by the generosity of AllMart customers and matched by ACT and AllMart dollar-for-dollar, underscores the companies’ commitment to uplifting those with special needs and disabilities. The initiative, which launched in December 2023 as part of their Community Outreach Program, invited AllMart users to contribute to this meaningful cause. Over just four months, customers donated an impressive $4,040, which ACT and AllMart matched to reach the final total.
“Our pillar of support mission is to inspire those with special needs and disabilities to feel empowered and find positive value in their unique abilities,” said Andrew Doumith, Business Development Manager at ACT and Head of Operations at AllMart. “We also aim to inspire society and the government to see the immense value in inclusion. This initiative is not just a donation—it’s a reflection of what we can achieve when we come together with shared purpose and compassion.”
At ACT, the mission is “Bringing Our Community Into the Future,” while AllMart focuses on “Empowering and Enabling Our Local Community.” These guiding principles are at the heart of every project, including this recent initiative.
The Adele School for Special Children provides transformative education and support to children with special needs, creating brighter futures for its students. This donation aims to strengthen their efforts and further their impact in the community.
Doumith also emphasised the significance of the timing: “It’s a wonderful coincidence that this occasion falls during the Christmas season, a time of giving, sharing, and embodying the spirit of goodwill and blessings. As we celebrate this milestone, we carry forward the joy of giving and the warmth of the holiday season into all that we do.”
This marks the beginning of many such initiatives. Both ACT and AllMart are committed to supporting meaningful causes and working together with the community to foster empowerment, inclusion, and compassion.
On behalf of ACT, AllMart, and himself, Doumith extended heartfelt gratitude to the Adele School team for their life-changing work and to all contributors for their generosity and support.
He closed with a heartfelt message: “We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a joyful season filled with love, kindness, and hope. Together we are stronger and together we can make a difference.”
