Delano Forbes, the man dubbed a vampire and serial killer, has been committed to stand trial in the May Criminal Assizes.

Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh sent the matter to the High Court after ruling that there is sufficient evidence to support her decision on the two murder charges before her court.

The committal is in relation to the killings of reputed vagrants Lisue Samuel and Shawn Henry in 2017.

Forbes still has two more murder cases in another court.

In addition to being accused of murdering Henry and Samuel, he is before the All Saints Magistrate’s Court for the killings of Swetes resident Wilfred “Bongo” Williams and All Saints resident Morrison “Chung” Thomas.

Forbes escaped from the police in Swetes Village on February 12th last year

while they were taking him back to a scene of one of the murders as the probe continued.

He evaded them for nearly a month and that’s when he allegedly killed Thomas.
