A-Mobile and Blue Waters pick up victories in Business Basketball League

A-Mobile recorded their first win on Tuesday night in the Cool and Smooth Business Basketball League at the JSC Sports Complex.

They hammered newbies Galley Bay 68-43 in the feature encounter of the double-header evening.

Jeffrey George and Tahj Kirby netted 22 points for the victors. They were assisted by Delon Joseph who sank 12 points.

Galley Bay’s Iba Hodge had 16 points in a losing effort. They now hold a record of 0-2.

Blue Waters were also victorious that night, defeating Dixie 67-52.

Ishan Peets led the charge for the victors with 18 points while teammate Tristan Jacobs banked 12 points.

Ariel Quallis and Kareem Jacobs also contributed, scoring 11 points each.

Dixie’s George Francis was the leading scorer with 19 points while teammate Noel Ryan chipped in, sinking 14.

Games will continue tonight at the JSC Sports Complex as the Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB) will battle FLOW at 6:30 while Galley Bay will meet Dixie at 7:30.

Blue Waters will face Anjo Wholesale at 8:30.
