The family of Christopher Tester, who was shot in the head during a robbery on Christmas Day, is offering a US $20,000 to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of the person(s) who did the deed.

Tester, 37, who was shot during an attempted robbery at his parent’s business in Old Road, is now in a rehabilitation hospital for the blind and brain-damaged, where he is learning to deal with his disability, according to the family.

His father, Anthony John Tester, told OBSERVER media, the family has offered the reward in the hope that the perpetrator will be found.

“I believe that people know, even now, as we speak, who that person is, and I believe that eventually somebody will say something, and to try and help that along a gentleman has offered a US $10,000 reward if it leads to the conviction. I have decided to double that.”
