Chairperson of Tourism on the Barbuda Council, Asha Frank, is optimistic that Barbuda will be back in operation in the imminent tourism period.

Rape accused cops in maximum security 

       After being denied bail on rape and buggery charges yesterday, two policemen were taken to prison and placed in the maximum security section.

Prison on lockdown after stabbing incident

Operations at Her Majesty’s Prison (1735) came to a halt on Thursday and continued into Friday due to an altercation between an inmate and a prison guard. OBSERVER media was reliably informed that a prisoner by the name of Collin ‘Bling’ Browne stabbed a junior officer in the forearm during a scuffle.
